UNILON™/UNIASLON™
State-of-the-art film to meet a range of requirements
UNILON/UNIASLON are simultaneous bi-axially oriented nylon films with high-level functionalities developed through a combination of Idemitsu Unitech's distinctive precise orientation control system and material reformation technology.
UNIASLON TB grade (pictured right) was specifically created for consumers who needed both the ability to cut linearly while maintaining low tear strength to enable smooth cutting. UNIASLON has a great deal of potential as a barrier free film.
Product Features
Bi-axially oriented nylon film
This grade exhibits extremely accurate thickness, excellent orientation balance and excellent anti-pinhole properties with superb impact resistance. Furthermore, this simultaneous bi-axially oriented nylon film has excellent cold and heat resistance suitable for retort and frozen food packaging.
Shrink oriented nylon film
Simultaneous bi-axially oriented nylon film exhibiting proper shrink properties during heating. This product would be ideal as a covering material for containers that require tension.
Linear-cut nylon film
This product is special nylon film developed by combination of bi-axially orientation technology under Idemitsu's original precision orientation control system and material reformation technology. Allowing full utilization of properties common to nylon resins, this maintains practical strength as well as linear cut property. This product is also applicable to wide range of applications from frozen food to boil and retort sterilization food thanks to excellent suitability for printing and laminating.
