Hokkaido Refinery

Hokkaido Refinery

Hokkaido Refinery is the northernmost Refinery in Japan, located in Tomakomai City. It began operations in 1973 as a base for supplying energy to Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, and other areas. Hokkaido and other parts of northern Japan require a lot of kerosene and diesel for heating, among other petroleum products. In order to meet these energy needs, Hokkaido Refinery is equipped with a cracking unit. In this way, we are working to increase the production ratio of petroleum products that are in high demand and ensure a stable supply.
