Hokkaido Refinery | Petroleum product manufacturing flow

Hokkaido Refinery has 13 refining units, and crude oil transported mainly from the Middle East by large tankers is turned into petroleum products through these refining units. It is equipped with a cracking unit that produces kerosene and diesel for heating, increasing the production ratio of petroleum products, which are in high demand. The amount of crude oil processed in the atmospheric distillation unit is 140,000 barrels per day, and it takes one day to turn it into petroleum products.
