A day in the life of a supervisor ~Refueling vehicle edition~

In order to carry out refueling operations safely and efficiently, we listen to opinions from the field and work with refueling companies and vehicle manufacturers to consider specifications for refueling vehicles.
When it comes to specifications, it is important to understand international standards and consider how to match them with domestic operations.
In addition, when visiting refueling companies, we check the inspection methods and implementation status regarding regular vehicle inspections, and respond to on-site questions and suggestions.

A day in the life of a supervisor ~Audit edition~

An important part of our work is operational audits of contracted airports jointly conducted by oil distributors.
We also attend audits conducted by IFQP and airlines.
The purpose of the audit is to confirm that the various rules that make air travel safe and secure are being followed.
After the audit, we confirm the details with the fueling company and follow up.

A day in the life of a supervisor - Aviation fuel industry activities -

Participating in the JGL Subcommittee, an organization of the Petroleum Federation of Japan, revised Japan's "Guidelines for Jet Fuel Handling Standards" (commonly known as the Japan Petroleum Federation Guidelines) in line with the revision of the JIG Standard (one of the world standards for aviation fuel). This has been carried out by representatives from major oil distributors.
Since the JIG Standards are in English, we first start with Japanese translation, and then we conduct repeated discussions to ensure consistency, confirming the requirements and taking into consideration the historical performance of quality control based on related domestic laws and regulations. Our company has been a leader in this debate for many years, protecting the safety of air travel by ensuring the quality of aviation fuel, equipment standards for refueling facilities and vehicles, and safe refueling operations.
