At IAV, we always have the spirit of challenge to "make the impossible possible" based on the knowledge and experience we have cultivated over many years, and we work together as a group to tackle difficult challenges. We hope to continue contributing to the future of Japan's and the world's skies.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd., we support the safe refueling of aircraft with the aviation fuel that Idemitsu Kosan supplies to 47 airports across the country.
Idemitsu Kosan has refueling companies at each airport handle the refueling of aircraft on its behalf. We work together with our affiliated companies to support the safe air travel of our passengers, including quality control of the aviation fuel up to the point of refueling the aircraft and compliance with refueling procedures.
We also work closely with oil refiners, airlines, relevant government agencies, and overseas organizations, and are actively involved in formulating guidelines within Japan with the aim of realizing high-quality aviation refueling operations that are free of accidents and problems.
Our "supervisors" patrol supply airports across the country to ensure that "safety" is our top priority from the standpoint of "ensuring fuel quality" and "compliance with refueling procedures."
We strive to communicate smoothly with our affiliated companies, and tackle problems on a daily basis with the goal of achieving zero accidents.

The goal of realizing a decarbonized society, which is currently being taken on a global scale, is of course an urgent issue for the aviation industry as well.
We are currently working on building a framework for the production, distribution, and supply of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) in Japan.
