As the plane takes off into the clear blue sky, each and every passenger is likely boarding with a variety of thoughts in their heart, such as excitement about an upcoming family trip or school trip, preparing for business success, or looking forward to seeing family back home for the first time in a long time.
We at Idemitsu Aviation Co., Ltd. are a member of the Idemitsu Kosan Group, a manufacturer of jet fuel, and we work together with fueling facility companies and fueling companies at 47 airports across the country to fully support each and every one of our customers to ensure that their irreplaceable air travel is enjoyable and safe.
We place top priority on safety, and strive every day to ensure that the quality of Petroleum, which is essential for aircraft to fly, is always in compliance with standards through proper management, and to refuel aircraft using reliable procedures.
We also work closely with oil refiners, airlines, relevant government agencies, and overseas organizations, and are actively involved in formulating guidelines within Japan with the aim of realizing high-quality aviation refueling operations without accidents or problems within Japan.
We have been carrying out these activities since our company was founded in 2005, and as a result, we are extremely grateful to have earned the trust of our stakeholders.
Measures are currently being taken on a global scale to "achieve a decarbonized society," and naturally this has become an urgent issue in the aviation industry as well.
We are currently working on establishing a framework for the domestic production, distribution, and supply of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
Aiming to realize our mission of "We will do everything in our power to support safe air travel," we are always mindful of the challenge of "making the impossible possible" based on the knowledge and experience we have cultivated over the years. We are determined to tackle these challenges as a unified group, and continue to contribute to the future of skies in Japan and around the world.
