MULTILAY is a co-extruded multi-layer polypropylene (PP) sheet for food packaging developed by Idemitsu Unitech.
Its oxygen barrier properties helps protect food quality and extend shelf life.
Designed for a wide range of food packaging applications, MULTILAY is used for dessert cups, single-serve condiment containers, and ready-meal trays.

MULTILAY helps reduce food oxidation and flavor loss, helping extend shelf life and maintaining product quality.
Barrier Grade – Multilay PBPMULTILAY PBP provides oxygen barrier and aroma retention properties,
along with the heat and oil resistance of polypropylene.
It is suitable for hot filling, high-temperature sterilization, and microwave applications.
Non-barrier and PP filler barrier grades are also available.
The co-extruded multi-layer structure allows performance features such as high rigidity, cold resistance, and antistatic properties to be incorporated based on application requirements.
Flexible Color OptionsA wide range of colors is available to support product branding and packaging design.
The multi-layer structure also allows different colors to be used for the inner and outer layers.
