Formerly Calp Corporation, later Lion Idemitsu Composites Co.,Ltd. (trade name changed in 2010) established in 1979 through investment by Idemitsu Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. (present-day Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd.) and Lion Corporation, Idemitsu Fine Composites Co.,Ltd., as a specialized manufacturer of composite materials, has continued with its untiring managerial efforts and steadfast developments in collaboration with its customers spanning 46 years to supply countless new materials in a wide range of fields.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our customers for their support and patronage and all our manufacturing partners for their cooperation, without which this would not have been possible.
Becoming a company wholly owned by Idemitsu Kosan in April 2021, we have made a fresh start under the name Idemitsu Fine Composites Co.,Ltd.
Since then, our company’s basic stance has been “The subject of our basic behavior guidelines is all, We.” and our motto has been to develop products to increase customer satisfaction, to brush up production technologies with our manufacturing partners on a daily basis, and to improve employee growth and satisfaction. We will also deepen our ties with the Functional Materials Business Segment of Idemitsu Kosan and take on the challenge of developing new technologies and materials.
We will offer our customers solutions using high-performance composite materials with the aim of becoming an expert group engaged in technological developments one step ahead of the times. We will push ahead as one with the goal of making Idemitsu Fine Composites Co.,Ltd. a global leader in high-performance composite materials.
