Features

As an energy supply base for central Japan

Aichi Complex began operations as Refinery in the coastal industrial area of Chita City in 1975 as an energy supply base for central Japan.
Aichi Complex is the last Refinery to be built in Japan, and we are striving to flexibly respond to changes in the demand structure as environmental measures progress.

Sea berth/crude oil tank

Sea berth/crude oil tank

Crude oil is unloaded from open ocean sea berths into crude oil tanks via pipelines.

Atmospheric distillation equipment: 160,000 barrels/day

Atmospheric distillation equipment: 160,000 barrels/day

Crude oil is heated to approximately 360℃ and separated into LPG, naphtha, kerosene, light oil, and heavy oil using the difference in boiling points.
