Aichi Complex | Manufacturing flow

Crude oil shipped from the Middle East and other parts of the world is separated into LPG, naphtha, kerosene, heavy oil, and other components using differences in boiling points in atmospheric distillation units called topper. These semi-finished products are further processed into products through desulfurization and blending. Our Complex is characterized by its extensive secondary equipment, including an alkylation unit that produces high-grade gasoline base stock, a heavy oil fluid catalytic cracking unit that produces gasoline and diesel from heavy oil, and a cracked gasoline desulfurization facility that produces sulfur-free gasoline. These units are centrally controlled by computers, realizing an "optimal production system."
