Idemitsu International Asia (IIA), an affiliate of Idemitsu Kosan, manages the energy trading business of the parent group with specialization in oil trading, bunkering, freight and hedging strategies, and energy transition products. As such it plays an integral role in the global petroleum business of Idemitsu group, the second largest refiner in Japan.
Strategically located in Singapore, the maritime and financial hub of the Asia-Pacific region, IIA is active in petroleum & petrochemical products, biodiesel and other low carbon alternatives, as well as system and non-system hedging for both liquids and freight. Being part of the Idemitsu group provides IIA with a unique advantage of accessing a comprehensive refinery network in Japan aligned with strong, long-term relationship-driven supply centers and end-user outlets across the Asia-Pacific and neighboring regions. This seamless and supply chain focused system enables IIA to provide efficient and competitive services to our customers and suppliers whilst being well-placed to take advantage of market imbalances should they occur.
