History

Idemitsu International (Asia), was established in 1977 as Idemitsu Kosan’s regional office in Singapore. During the 1990s, IIA began trading petroleum products, mostly exported from Idemitsu group refinery in Japan. Since then, IIA has gradually expanded its trading activities not just in the Asia-Pacific region but also across the globe, with our physical footprint now encompassing the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Today, IIA plays an integral role in Idemitsu’s global petroleum business, and in the future will remain at the forefront of meeting our customers’ needs and in positioning the company strategically as we transition to a low-carbon future.
