Refinery has around 50 refining units. Crude oil, mainly transported by large tankers from the Middle East, passes through these refining units to become petroleum products. One of the petroleum products, naphtha, is sent to a petrochemical plant and turned into petrochemicals through petrochemical units. It takes one day for crude oil to be turned into petroleum products after being sent to the atmospheric distillation unit, and another day for it to be turned into petrochemicals.
