Harmony with the environment

Against the backdrop of climate change issues, there is a need for harmony with the global environment and society. In order to contribute to the realization of a low-carbon and recycling-oriented society through our business, Advanced Technology Research Laboratories is working on the development of technologies to reduce GHG and efficiently convert CO₂ and biomass into useful substances.

We are conducting research and development on catalytic conversion technology and electrolytic reduction technology, with the aim of producing useful substances such as hydrocarbons from CO₂ emitted from Refinery, power plants, factories, etc.

We are conducting research and development on biological conversion technology and catalytic conversion technology, with the aim of producing environmentally friendly fuels and chemical products using microorganisms, natural products, and plants.
