Taking full advantage of the benefits of integrating Refinery and petrochemical plants, we have achieved an efficient and integrated production system, from oil refining to the production of plastic materials.
1. 2. Keiyo Sea Berth/Crude Oil Tank
Crude oil is unloaded from the Keiyo Sea Berth in Tokyo Bay (capacity for 2 300,000 ton ships) to crude oil tanks via an undersea pipeline at a rate of approximately 10,000 kL/hour.
3.Ethylene equipment
From naphtha and LPG, we produce ethylene, propylene, acetylene, and other basic raw materials for petrochemicals.
4.Debenzene equipment
Idemitsu has been addressing the carcinogenic properties of benzene and has been using low-benzene gasoline since 1993. The removed benzene becomes a petrochemical raw material.
5. Control room
As the brains of Refinery, it centrally manages everything from receiving crude oil to production and logistics.
6.Lubricating oil filling station
Lubricating oil is mainly manufactured in Chiba. We manufacture a wide variety of products, from base oils to high-performance oils.
