I-MARV ™ (Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin)

Our I-MARV™︎ is a colorless and transparent hydrocarbon resin that we independently developed based on the polymerization and hydrogenation technologies that we have cultivated over many years.
This product can be used as a tackifier for wide range of applications such as hot melt adhesives forhygiene products, packages, automotives and assemblies, or pressure sensitive adhesives for tapes and labels.
This product can also be used as a modifier for plastic film / sheet application, and listed by FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).

Features

Our I-MARV™ is a DCPD (dicyclopentadiene)/aromatic copolymer hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin that uses C5 fraction as the main raw material.
This product is colorless, transparent, and odorless, and has excellent thermal stability and heat resistance because it is highly hydrogenated.
This product offers wide range of formulation because of good compatibility with SBS, polyolefin, EVA resins and various elastomers.
Hot melt adhesives or a pressure sensitive adhesives from this product shows well-balanced Peel Strength and Creep.
An olefin film modified by this product shows better transparency, rigidity and barrier against gas and steam.
In the view point of sustainability, it is possible to reduce plastics by gauge down thanks to better rigidity of film modified by this product.

Our I-MARV™︎ is available in partially hydrogenated type S and hydrogenated type P, and due to its many excellent properties, it can be used for a variety of applications.
