Service station that continues to evolve as a "lifestyle support hub" that solves local issues, rather than being limited to supplying Petroleum such as gasoline, diesel oil, and kerosene. We presented representative types such as "environmentally friendly eco stations" and "distributed energy supply stations". The challenges each region faces are unique and change with the times. We want to support mobility and energy by fusing human power and digital power in a "smart" way and evolving into "Yorozu" (infinitely diverse). Based on the concept of "Smart Yorozuya" which incorporates this determination, we are promoting the development of a variety of lifestyle support hub, including these Various types of SS.

Due to changes in car ownership and the development of diverse means of transportation, the number of service station spread across Japan is decreasing year by year. If the number of service station continues to decrease, there is a risk that regions will be unable to receive a stable supply of energy. In order to fulfill the mission of providing a stable supply of energy, we will flexibly evolve and protect the ideal form of a "service station" to meet the needs of the times. This is the "Smart Yorozuya" concept that Idemitsu Kosan has set forth.

Idemitsu has long operated service station across the country. In addition to its knowledge of fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, the company is also adept at understanding the issues and needs of each region through collaboration with dealers who operate service station are deeply rooted in the local area.
Toward the realization of a carbon-neutral, recycling-oriented society by 2050, we are developing new energy sources, including synthetic fuel, and all-solid lithium battery materials for electric vehicles, while utilizing existing infrastructure such as Refinery. We are also considering providing diverse energy sources for mobility.
The Idemitsu Group is working together with all its might to develop a variety of lifestyle support hub, including Various types of SS, that combine local connections, infrastructure, knowledge, and energy transitions in a comprehensive manner.

In order to make our service even more convenient, we have released the official app "Drive On," which also includes a payment function in November 2022. It has already been downloaded by over 11 million customers (as of May 2025), and we will continue to expand the reservation function and strengthen collaboration with other services.
Additionally, in November 2022, Various types of SS will open the "apollostation Type Green," an "environmentally friendly eco station" that utilizes domestic timber. Equipped with solar panels and EV rapid chargers, the station also serves as a base for the circular economy. The company aims to open 30 such stations by fiscal 2025.
Additionally, in October 2023, the first "apolloONE" store, a specialty store specializing in mobility services, will open. This store has been well received as it will be able to respond to the diverse needs of the local community in a more detailed and specialized manner. The company aims to open approximately 250 stores of this type by 2030.
Idemitsu's goal is not to create uniform service station. Each station is a collection of stations with its own unique character and personality. With the slogan "Bringing various a!s to this town," we will continue to evolve in accordance with the lifestyles of the people in each town and region.
