Due to changes in car ownership and the development of diverse means of transportation, the number of service station spread across Japan is decreasing year by year. If the number of service station continues to decrease, there is a risk that regions will be unable to receive a stable supply of energy. In order to fulfill the mission of providing a stable supply of energy, we will flexibly evolve and protect the ideal form of a "service station" to meet the needs of the times. This is the "Smart Yorozuya" concept that Idemitsu Kosan has set forth.

Idemitsu has been operating service station all over Japan for a long time. In addition to knowledge about fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, the company is also adept at understanding the issues and needs of each region by collaborating with dealers operate service station that are rooted in the local community.
Toward the realization of a carbon-neutral, recycling-oriented society by 2050, we are developing new energy sources, including synthetic fuel, and all-solid lithium battery materials for electric vehicles, while utilizing existing infrastructure such as Refinery. In order to make our service more convenient, we released the official app "Drive On", which also added a payment function in November 2022. It has already been downloaded by over 9 million customers (as of October 2024), and we will continue to expand the reservation function and strengthen our collaboration with other services.
In addition, Various types of SS will open the "apollostation Type Green" in November 2022 as an "environmentally friendly eco station" that uses domestic wood. It will be equipped with solar panels and EV quick chargers, and will also serve as a base for the circular economy. The company aims to open 30 such stations by fiscal 2025.
In addition, in October 2023, the first "apolloONE" store, a specialty store specializing in mobility services, will open. This has been well received as it allows us to respond to the diverse needs of the local community in a more detailed and specialized manner. We aim to open approximately 250 stores of this store by 2030.
Idemitsu does not aim to create uniform service station. Each station has its own unique character and personality. With the slogan "Bringing a variety of a! to this town," we will continue to evolve in accordance with the lifestyles of the people in each town and region.
