1. Social Media Group Policy
We, Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. and its group companies(“Idemitsu Group” or “we”), regard social media as a valuable tool for communicating with our customers.
We have established the “Social Media Group Policy” as a basic stance of Idemitsu Group for using social media, and we strive to enforce it thoroughly.

We will adopt an attitude of listening carefully to the voices of our customers.

We will take responsibility for information dissemination and strive for sincere, fair, and sensible communication.

We will promptly address any false information or misleading expressions.

We will respect copyrights, portrait rights, and other rights of third parties without infringement.

We will comply with laws and regulations related to social media.
2. Social Media Usage Guidelines
Introduction
Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. (the “Company”) requires all users of the official social media account operated by the Company (the “SNS”) to follow these Social Media Usage Guidelines (these “Guidelines”) when using the SNS.
Article 1 Amendment of These Guidelines
The Company may amend these Guidelines without the prior consent of users, and the amended Guidelines shall become effective at the time when they are posted on the Company's website.
Article 2 Prohibited Acts
When using the SNS, users shall be prohibited from committing any of the following acts. If the Company determines that a user has committed any of the following acts, the Company may, without prior notice, delete relevant information, suspend the user's use of the SNS, or take any other measures. If a user causes damage to the Company, the Company may claim compensation from such user.

Acts that obstruct or may obstruct the operation of the SNS;

Acts with the purpose of committing a crime or acts that induces a crime;

Acts of impersonating the Company or a third party;

Acts of engaging in political, electoral, or religious activities;

Acts of slandering or defaming a specific individual, company, region, country, religion, etc.;

Acts that infringe or may infringe the copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other rights of the Company or a third party;

Acts that violate or may violate laws and regulations, public order, or morals;

Acts for the purpose of advertising, promotion, solicitation, introduction, sales, or other profits;

Acts of reproducing, selling, publishing, or otherwise using information obtained through the SNS beyond the scope of personal use;

Acts of spamming;

Acts that violate the terms of use of each social media operating company;

Acts of posting or sending harmful computer programs;

Acts of expressing content that falls under or is similar to any of the following items:
(1) Content containing discriminatory expressions;
(2) Content that poses ethical concerns;
(3) Content containing obscene or violent expressions;
(4) Content unrelated to the content of the SNS;
(5) Content that discloses private communication with the Company or a third party;
(6) Content containing false or misleading information;
(7) Content that identifies or discloses personal information without the relevant individual's consent; and
(8) Content that other users find offensive. -
Any other acts that the Company deems inappropriate.
Article 3 Disclaimers and Precautions

The Company shall not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information provided through the SNS.

The Company may change or delete information published on the SNS without prior notice. In addition, The Company may also pause or suspend public access to the SNS.

The Company shall not be responsible for any content posted by users.

The Company shall not be liable for any damage, trouble, or disadvantage caused to users in relation to any information displayed on the SNS or any change or update thereof.

The Company shall not be liable for any damage resulting from users' use of or inability to use the SNS.

The Company shall not be liable for any damage or trouble that arises between a user and a third party in relation to the use of the SNS.

The Company shall have no obligation to reply to any posts on the SNS.

The copyrights, intellectual property rights, and use rights of the information displayed on the SNS shall belong to the Company, authors, or other right holders. Users shall not personally use any information displayed on the SNS without permission from the right holder(s). In addition, any commercial use of such information shall be prohibited.

The copyright and other rights pertaining to any posted content shall belong to the user who has posted it. By posting to the SNS, the user shall be deemed to have granted the Company the non-exclusive right to use (including process, excerpt, reproduce, publish, and translate) the posted content worldwide for free and to have agreed not to exercise the author's moral right against the Company.

With respect to the portrait rights, copyrights, and other rights pertaining to the subject(s) in a photo to be posted, each user shall, on his/her own responsibility, take necessary measures such as obtaining consent from the subject(s) for the posting (or taking a photo in a manner that makes it impossible to identify individual(s)).

If the Company acquires personal information from users, the Company shall manage such personal information appropriately in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Company.
Article 4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Guidelines shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Each user and the Company agree that any dispute arising between the user and the Company in connection with the SNS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
