Announcement of opening of "Chiba Kita Hydrogen Station"
Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. (President: Shunichi Kifuji, hereinafter referred to as the "Company") today opens the "Chiba Kita Hydrogen Station" in Hanamigawa Ward, Chiba City and begins operations.

Since 2016, we have been commercializing and operating the "Narita Hydrogen Station" on the grounds of Narita Airport. The Chiba Kita Hydrogen Station, which opened today, is our second commercial hydrogen station.
This hydrogen station is a joint venture between Japan Hydrogen Station Network LLC (abbreviated as "JHyM") and our company. In response to the project being selected for the "Hydrogen Supply Facility Installation Subsidy Project for Battery-powered Vehicles", we have proceeded with construction in Hanamigawa Ward, Chiba City.
Our company is considering various initiatives with the aim of becoming carbon neutral (net zero CO2 emissions), and our hydrogen station will be supplied by Idemitsu Green Power K.K. (President: Junichi Yoshida), a wholly owned subsidiary of our company. Uses electricity from 100% renewable energy "Premium Zero Plan" *.
Through the operation of hydrogen stations, we will accumulate technological and business knowledge and contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality society.
*A plan that combines a 100% renewable energy power source including FIT electricity with a non-fossil certificate with tracking, making it essentially 100% renewable energy.
