Idemitsu Music Events“Performing the future”
What is Idemitsu Music Events“Performing the future”
To show our appreciation to the local community for their continued support in our business activities, we have been holding concerts since 2006. Since 2017, we have been holding concerts under the name "Idemitsu Music Events“Performing the future”," with the aim of creating opportunities for young musicians to perform and for children to experience and enjoy music.
We will continue to support the creativity, challenges, and growth of those who will lead the next generation by positioning "culture," which fosters spiritual richness, as one of the pillars of our corporate citizenship activities.
In 2025, the theme will be "Enjoy a world trip with classic music," and we will deliver classic music masterpieces, movie music, and Disney music with the up-and-coming orchestra Tacticato Orchestra, soprano, baritone, and piano. In addition, we are planning a "Experience percussion instruments!" and "Let's sing together!" corner, which will be enjoyed by people of all ages. We look forward to receiving many applications.

Implementation report
The 2024 "Idemitsu Music Events“Performing the future”" featured conductor Satoru Yoneda, trombonist Kojiro Fujiwara, pianist Asuto Kitamura, and the "Tacticat Orchestra" formed by young, talented musicians, performing a variety of music genres, mainly classical, for visitors, including Johannes Brahms' "Hungarian Dance No. 5," Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven," and a Disney medley.
In addition to a program in which visitors could join in by clapping, there was also a rare "Conductor Experience Corner" where visitors could actually conduct a professional orchestra on stage after a one-point lesson from conductor Yoneda. The entire venue was united in excitement as the audience were led by a range of unique performers, from elementary school children to adults.
