Award speech
I'm so happy. When I heard about the award, the faces of my mother and wife came to mind. I'm also grateful to my best friend who has supported my work, the people who have cared about my art, and my local art teacher.

audience award
This year, visitors were once again invited to vote for the Audience Award during the exhibition. As a result of 3,119 votes, Fumiya Matsui's "Sardines and Telephone" (selected work) was selected as the winner of the Idemitsu Art Award 2025 Audience Award.

SNS Award
The SNS Award was newly established in 2025 with the aim of raising awareness of the challenges faced by young artists not only among visitors to the Idemitsu Art Award Exhibition, but also among more people across the country.
"Character" by Akito Maeda was selected from the 52 Jury Prize-winning and selected works, excluding the two Grand Prix and Audience Prize winners, by a total of 495 votes from Idemitsu Kosan's official X and Idemitsu Art Award official Instagram accounts.
