Daphne Hermetic Oil FV Series

Daphne Hermetic Oil is part of the FV series of Idemitsu's PVE product. It can be used as a refrigeration oil for HFC-based air conditioners as well as commercial refrigeration systems. One of the special features of Daphne Hermetic Oil is the inclusion of additives such as antioxidants and anti-abrasion agents.

Characteristics of Daphne Hermetic Oil

  1. Compatible with all HFC refrigerants (R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A).
  2. Not hydrolytic, unlike POE lubricants.
  3. Better solubility with process fluids.
  4. Superior resistance to capillary tube blockage.
  5. Unsurpassed lubricity for greater wear protection.
  6. Optimal for non-dryer systems.

Available in packages containing twenty-four 1-liter containers or four 6-liter containers as well as available in 18-liter cans and 200-liter drums.

Containers should be kept closed when not in use. They should also be kept away from heat, flame and strong oxidants.

Health and Safety

The Material Safety Data Sheet supplied with the product should be reviewed and kept on hand. Always apply a barrier cream to the skin prior to prolonged contact. Use special hand cleansers and wash thoroughly with soap and water after use. Avoid contact with eyes, and do not inhale vapor, mists or fumes.
