Recently, worldwide biofuel consumption has been rapidly increased from a viewpoint of contributions to global environmental protection and energy securities. In Asian countries, such as Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, it is reported that biofuels use has been widely spread. We are aiming to develop biofuel business which includes cultivating, securing of feedstock, producing, distributing and marketing of the fuels in around the Southeast Asian countries. Currently, we are studying cassava basis, which is well known as a resource material for ethanol, starch and feed stuff, bioethanol business in Cambodia. In addition, we are also studying palm oil which is available in Indonesia and Malaysia, for refining in terms of quality and marketing.
