Deodorizing function
The formose reaction provides fixation so that formaldehyde - one substance causing the "sick house syndrome" - is not rereleased, and HOTATE CLIN exerts a powerful catalytic effect on this reaction. It is also effective for reducing acidic foul-smelling substances such as hydrogen sulfide, acetic acid and isovaleric acid.
