ELCOAT (polyaniline)
A conductive polymer dissolved in solvent and requiring no binder
Since this type of ELCOAT is soluble in solvent, it forms a homogeneous conductive coating on the molecular order. Conductivity can be controlled from the antistatic level to the conductive level using various types of blending technology.
Features
Forms a homogeneous, flexible conductive coating
A stretchable conductive coating is easily formed on the substrate.
Conductivity controllable over a wide range
Conductivity can be controlled from 0.01 to 200 S/cm by blending with various secondary dopants.
Soluble in various types of solvent
The lineup includes toluene and non-aromatic types.
Good workability
Applicable to various applications.
Achieves unparalleled secondary workability.
Heat-resistant grade for electronic components
Conductivity does not decline, even under solder reflow conditions.
Relationship between stretch ratio and surface resistance of polyaniline coating film
