LINEALENE™ DIMER A-20 is a liquid higher olefin from Idemitsu. This advanced alpha olefin has high fluidity and low viscosity at cooler temperatures. LINEALENE™ DIMER A-20 also boasts high purity without being subject to contamination by volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and has a boiling point between 50°C and 260°C. Idemitsu offers a selection of LINEALENE™ DIMER A-20 grades that are ideally suited to many tasks, making them indispensable products for many of our customers.

Idemitsu's LINEALENE™ DIMER A-20 has a broad range of characteristics, which make it the perfect choice for many applications. Its high fluidity makes it suitable as a dilutant and its narrow distillation range makes it a desirable plasticizer. LINEALENE™ DIMER A-20 has a low viscosity, which is important for dispersants, and its high reactivity is perfect for use in synthetic intermediates. Furthermore, LINEALENE™ DIMER A-20 has excellent compatibility with PPG and silicon compounds (shown below) making it simple to work with.
