Idemitsu is proud to produce an environmentally clean adamantane at our advanced chemical plant in Tokuyama, Japan. The production scheme for our product uses an unique solid catalyst and feedstock position.

Adamantane is a unique compound that has the minimum basic framework of a diamond, which provides excellent heat stability, liposolubility and transparency properties. Using adamantane, Idemitsu developed the first process in the world with a zero environmental load and begun commercial operations in 2008. Idemitsu's adamantane is the best choice for functional base materials.
